Missouri Wing Units Assist Air Show

Missouri Wing St. Louis area squadrons, Gateway Senior Squadron, St. Louis Composite Squadron, and Wentzville area squadrons joined forces last weekend to host an outreach tent at the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and STEM Expo. Gateway Squadron provided a static display of a CAP Cessna while cadets and adult volunteers spent the weekend educating the community on CAP’s missions and inspiring the next generation of aerospace leaders.

A major highlight of the weekend was assisting "The Chuters" skydiving team by retrieving their flags from the drop zone, which earned our members front-row seats to the action! They also had the incredible opportunity to meet and chat with the Canadian Forces Snowbirds jet demonstration team (pictured). It was a fantastic weekend of community connection, outreach, and mentorship.
